ETIKO PTY LTD

About Us

We were founded by Nick Savaidis in Melbourne, Australia, back in 2005. Nick had one wish: to buy apparel and footwear which didn’t involve child labour or underpaid workers, and didn’t wreck the environment. In short, he wanted to buy ethical clothing, but found that no such brand existed. By creating fair, transparent, environmentally-friendly supply chains, Etiko has directly supported the human rights and labour conditions of countless cotton growers, rubber tappers, apparel workers, shoe manufacturers and sports ball producers living in India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. This has positive flow-on effects for these workers’ families and their communities. Today, we remain one of Australia’s leading ethical fashion brands. We have certifications from ethical, environmental and organic certifiers, such as Fairtrade, B Corp and the Global Organic Textile Standard. And we’re proud to do it all with some of the best-looking streetwear you’ll find on the market.

About Me

I've found that like so many attracted to the Emotions movement, my drive and commitment comes from grief after the loss of a loved one to suicide, mental health struggles of my own and a desire to make positive social change that contributes to society's well-being. Along with passion, I bring 15+ years of experience in startups to mature businesses. I enjoy creating systems that support a seamless customer experience. I embrace decisions based on analytics and data, and am well-rehearsed in navigating rapidly changing technological and economic environments. I believe in culture and social enterprise, and most of all quantifiable social change. Recognised by multiple awards including the Antill 30Under30 Award for entrepreneurial excellence under the age of 30, and the Australian Service Excellence Awards (now known as the CSIA) for customer service.
